READ ME FIRST: Admin guideline for Community Suggestion

Anyone can post suggestion. Popular discussion can turn into Campaign or Proposal.

Condition for a discussion to turn into a Campaign or Proposal if it satisfies the following conditions within 30 days:

  • More 10 like
  • More 100 views

After 30 days, if you want to propose a similar discussion, please post a new one.

A. What is a campaign?

A campaign is a resource-limited activity, general it should not last more than 1 month and budget should be small enough so it does not hurt if we make mistake. The success of a campaign rely on how specific its success factor can be measured, how clear the actions each participant must conduct and its transparency.

1. Why do you want to hold this campaign?

What benefit would it to the Protocol? or What problem it will solve on behalf of the Protocol?

2. What is the Total amount of the Reward pool allocated for this campaign?

What token or NFT do you want to use and how much. Can you please resonate the reward to the benefit?

3. What is the latest Start date of this Campaign?

The latest start day that this campaign still brings value to the protocol.

4. What is the latest End date of this Campaign?

The campaign should not end after this day.

5. Who will be the Participant in this Campaign?

Please be specific. For example: the participant of campaign X is holder of Hectagon Tiger Tribe is not specific enough; instead it should be the holder of Hectagon Tiger Tribe between 1 August 2022 to 3 August 2022.

6. What is the Reward mechanism?

Please be specific. For example: how will you monitor the effectiveness of your campaign, how will users be able to game it, and how will you combat it?

7. What is the name of the Campaign?

Please be short and precise, less than 200 characters.

B. What is a Hectagon Improvement Proposal (HIP)?

A HIP is an initiative to improve how Hectagon Protocol works, including (but not limited to): how investment team should work, plan for $HECTA emissions, reward rate plan, etc.

2. Motivation

Explain why this proposal is necessary or useful for the protocol. The author is encouraged to add visual elements such as charts to support their arguments.

3. Proposal

Lay out your proposal - explain how it is going to tackle the issue at hand and present the action items.

4. Polling Period

The polling process begins now and will end at HH:MM UTC on DD/MM/YYYY. After this, a Scattershot vote will be put up at HH:MM UTC on DD/MM/YYYY.

5. Poll

For: Action taken if this proposal is accepted.
Against: Action taken if this proposal is rejected.
